Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring our store operates smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Aldi's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Give feedback to management on products, inventory losses, and general issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask effectively.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience desirable.
