Job Description
As a Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's optimal operation and exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide a pleasant shopping experience for customers. This is a full-time position with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash policies.
- Comply with company policies and procedures while upholding security measures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
- Proficient in equipment operation and general cleaning duties.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to the role's demands.
