Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join the team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. Your dedication to exceptional customer service and collaboration with the ALDI team will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Share feedback with management on products, inventory, and any issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies, uphold document security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
• Safe operation of equipment such as hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers.
• Capability to follow cleaning standards and company policies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to multitask.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
