Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a pivotal role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory management, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and uphold company procedures
• Follow established company rules, ensure security, and maintain confidentiality
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Strong customer service and cashiering skills
• Ability to operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills
• Capacity to work independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking
• Meet state requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• A combination of education and experience will be considered
