Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team and uphold the company's standards of excellence in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTS Competencies, and Professional Skills in daily responsibilities.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure well-organized merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Report product feedback, inventory status, and any operational issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and follow cash handling policies.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain security protocols, and safeguard confidential information.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
• Capable of operating equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Experience in retail environment and high school diploma preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to multi-task effectively.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales if applicable.
