Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join ALDI's dynamic team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless customer shopping experience, maintaining store cleanliness, and providing exceptional customer service. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with the ALDI team and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. values consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves and displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Comply with company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
