Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies, maintain security, and respect confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe operation of equipment and ability to perform cleaning duties
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
