Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join Aldi's team. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training in all aspects of store management to prepare you for leading your own store successfully. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store activities, ensuring top-notch customer service, managing staffing needs, creating operational plans, and fostering team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations and team performance to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Communicate company values, encourage teamwork, and handle customer concerns effectively.
- Maintain store signage and product quality while overseeing hiring processes and staff scheduling.
- Develop and revise schedules, communicate job responsibilities, conduct store meetings, and identify training opportunities for team members.
- Manage store payroll and budgets, monitor competition, provide product feedback, and ensure a safe store environment.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to lead and develop team members.
- Strong understanding of company policies, budget management, and personnel supervision.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience, with management experience preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Travel
Full-Time Store Manager Trainees may train at multiple locations and flexibility to travel is required within divisional standards.
