Hiring Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

Join one of the leading LTL carriers, ABF Freight, as a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator in Brooklyn, NY. This full-time role involves the efficient pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center, while ensuring the safe loading and unloading of trailers.

General Description of Duties

• Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations.
• Loading and unloading of trailers using established procedures.
• Duties and schedules may vary by terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience.
• Class-A CDL with endorsements, safe driving record.
• Able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet medical requirements.
