Job Description
We are looking for a Local City Driver/Forklift Operator to join our team at ArcBest, ABF Freight in Brooklyn, NY. As part of one of the largest LTL carriers in the country, you will play a vital role in the pickup, delivery, and loading/unloading of cargo while adhering to safety and operational procedures.
General Description of Duties
- Pickup and deliver cargo to various destinations near the consolidation/distribution center.
- Utilize forklifts and follow proper loading/unloading techniques.
- Tasks and schedules may vary based on terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years old with 1 year of tractor/trailer experience.
- Hold a Class-A CDL with specific endorsements and a clean driving record.
- Pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and medical requirements.
