Hiring Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are looking for a dependable Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight in Brooklyn, NY. As part of our growing company, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo in a safe and timely manner, utilizing your tractor/trailer experience and CDL qualifications.

General Description of Duties

• Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations within proximity of the distribution center.
• Utilize proper techniques and procedures for loading and unloading trailers.
• Schedule and duties may vary based on terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required.
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
• Safe driving record and ability to pass DOT requirements.
