Job Description
We are currently hiring for the position of Local City Driver / Forklift Operator at our Reno, NV location. As part of the ABF Freight team, you will play a crucial role in the pickup and delivery of cargo, utilizing forklift operation skills and ensuring efficient transportation and logistics services to our valued customers.
General Description of Duties
- Conduct pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Load and unload trailers following established techniques and procedures.
- Actual duties and schedules may vary based on terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required.
- Class-A CDL with specific endorsements and no automatic restriction.
- Stable work record and safe driving history.
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet medical requirements.
