Infection Control Nurse -- LPN/LVN

Job Description

Genesis HealthCare is seeking an Infection Control Nurse -- LPN/LVN to join our clinical team. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will oversee the Infection Prevention and Control Program for one or multiple centers, serving as a practitioner, resource, consultant, educator, and facilitator for all staff. Responsibilities include activities related to infection prevention and control, outbreak management, employee health, and outcome surveillance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current LPN/LVN licensure.
• Specialized training in infection prevention and control.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a management or supervisory capacity in long-term care.
• Previous experience in infection prevention and control preferred.
• Flexible availability to meet the needs of staff working varied shifts.
