Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join Aveanna Healthcare. As an LPN/LVN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, documenting patient progress, and ensuring compliance with care plans and regulations. Your role will involve assessing patient needs, implementing nursing interventions, educating patients and families, and maintaining infection control measures.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in adherence to physician orders.
- Observe and assess patient condition, reporting changes to supervisors.
- Document all activities, assessments, and care actions promptly.
- Participate in care plan development and implementation.
- Take necessary nursing actions based on assessments to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Ensure patient safety and prevent risks through proactive care.
- Comply with Aveanna policies, regulations, and accrediting bodies.
- Educate patients and families on self-care and prevention strategies.
- Stay updated on nursing competencies through ongoing education.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
- Valid state license as a Licensed Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.
- Additional state-specific requirements may apply.
Preferences
- Six months of recent experience in clinical care as an LPN.
- Home health experience preferred.

- Ability to handle conflicts and organize tasks efficiently.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Ability to travel as necessary.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

- Physical agility for various tasks and emergency responses.

- Possible exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and blood.
