Job Description
Aveanna Healthcare, the largest pediatric home health care company in the U.S., is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care to patients in the home setting. As an LPN/LVN, you will be responsible for delivering and documenting skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, adhering to care plans and physicians' orders. Our focus remains on caring for medically fragile patients during the COVID-19 outbreak, and we are dedicated to providing a safe work environment for our staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one patient care in a home environment.
- Execute physicians' prescribed care plans and document care provided.
- Administer medication, treatments, and therapies as directed.
- Conduct patient assessments, coordinate care, and educate patients and family members.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school and current state LPN license.
- CPR certification and proficiency in clinical assessments.
- Attention to detail, time management, and effective communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, travel, and respond to emergency situations.
