Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join Aveanna Healthcare's team. As an LPN/LVN, you will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, following care plans, and ensuring patient well-being under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with physician orders.
• Continuously monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes promptly.
• Document all care-related activities accurately and timely.
• Participate in developing and updating nursing care plans.
• Implement appropriate nursing interventions and ensure desired outcomes.
• Adhere to Aveanna policies, regulations, and safety standards.
• Provide patient and family education on disease management and self-care.
• Maintain competence through continuous learning and skill enhancement.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Valid, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance.

Preferences

• At least six months of recent clinical experience as an LPN.
• Previous experience in home health care.

Skills and Abilities

• Attention to detail and time management.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Capability to travel as required.
• Aptitude to lift up to 50 pounds and move patients and equipment.
• Physical stamina for extended periods of standing, bending, and lifting.
• Strong visual, auditory, and sensory perception.
• Quick response to emergency situations.

• Potential exposure to infectious materials and blood.
• Flexibility to perform diverse duties as needed.
