Maintenance Manager for our Modesto Plant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Manager to join our team at Crystal Creamery Inc's Modesto Plant. As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing plant maintenance operations, reducing unplanned downtimes, and driving continuous improvements for our dairy processing facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage, organize, and lead the daily activities of the maintenance team.
• Provide training and professional development to the maintenance staff.
• Promote safe work practices to prevent employee injuries.
• Enhance maintenance performance and reliability through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance management programs and high standards of engineering.
• Optimize equipment utilization through preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Oversee the management of financial resources within the allocated budget.
• Ensure equipment availability complies with client and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Technology, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in maintenance within food & beverage manufacturing.
• Expertise in food processing equipment maintenance and technology.
• Strong leadership in food safety with knowledge of SQF requirements.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with managing Ammonia Refrigeration systems and CAL/ARP RMP programs.
• Knowledge of HazMat and SPCC programs, environmental regulations, and Plant Automation/PLC programs.
• Effective communicator with a service-oriented work philosophy.
• Understanding of financial analysis, budget reports, and business drivers.
• Ability to work different shifts.

Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 per year.
