We are looking for a motivated Manager in Training to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to prepare you for successfully running a store of your own. You will supervise day-to-day store activities, ensure overall store performance, manage schedules, and develop operational plans while mentoring and developing the team.

Full-Time

Estimated Hours:

45 hours per week

Starting Wage:

$27.50 per hour

Earning Potential (Year 1):

Up to $105,000 (inclusive of salary and bonuses, location-dependent)

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate and uphold ALDI's core values and competencies
• Supervise team performance and ensure top-tier customer service
• Implement company strategy and foster teamwork among employees
• Manage store operations, staffing, and schedules
• Ensure store signage, product quality, and freshness
• Conduct hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Maintain budget and loss goals
• Optimize store merchandising and inventory levels

Qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Ability to lead, provide excellent customer service, and manage a team
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures
• Prior retail management experience preferred
• Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meets state requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum 3 years retail experience
Combination of education/experience equivalent
Previous management experience desired

Travel:

Flexibility to train at multiple locations as required
