Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanic I to join Cargill, a global team dedicated to safe, responsible, and sustainable practices in nourishing the world. This full-time position, located in Albert Lea, MN, offers competitive compensation of $26.60/hr with a $3,000 sign-on bonus. As part of the protein and salt business, you will play a crucial role in maintaining production machinery, ensuring food safety and quality, and upholding cleanliness standards.

Principal Accountabilities

• Performing maintenance on production machinery using hand tools.
• Maintaining food safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.

Required Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Minimum 18 years of age with English proficiency.
• Prior production maintenance and welding experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Cargill experience and recent work history.
