Job Description

We are currently hiring a Class A CDL Hazmat and Tanker Truck Driver to join our team at ABF Freight in Honolulu, HI. As a City Driver with ABF Freight, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service by ensuring prompt and secure cargo transportation within close proximity of our distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Transport cargo to and from various destinations within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Ability to load and unload trailers using industry-standard techniques and procedures.
• Adapt to varying duties and schedules based on terminal location requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 21 years old.
• At least 1 year of tractor/trailer driving experience; training options available for less experienced candidates.
• Valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
• Demonstrated stable work history and strong work ethic.
• Clean driving record (MVR and previous employers' verifications).
• Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screening and medical requirements.
