Job Description
We are actively seeking a Class A CDL Hazmat and Tanker Truck Driver to join our team at ArcBest II ABF Freight. As a City Driver, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations, utilizing modern technology and procedures to ensure efficiency. Our drivers play a crucial role in maintaining strong customer relationships and contributing to the success of our operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Load and unload trailers using designated techniques and procedures.
- Adhere to a flexible schedule based on terminal location requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years old.
- At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience preferred; training available for those with less experience.
- Valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
- Stable work history and strong work ethic.
- Clean driving records and compliance with DOT requirements.
- Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screening and medical evaluations.
