Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Oncology Account Manager to join our team at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. As an Oncology Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting our oncology products to healthcare providers in your designated territory. You will play a crucial role in educating healthcare professionals, achieving sales targets, and fostering strong relationships within the oncology community.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Jazz Pharmaceuticals Adult Oncology products to physicians and healthcare providers.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on the approved indications for our products.
  • Achieve sales forecasts and targets.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings for exchanging medical and product information.
  • Analyze and understand prescribing and purchasing decision processes in your territory.
  • Collaborate with Technical Staff to increase product revenue.
  • Develop and implement business plans for your assigned territory.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key physicians and healthcare professionals.
  • Support company sales strategy and foster a team environment.
  • Ensure activities comply with legal and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • Four-year college/university degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Oncology sales preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of oncology product(s) and disease states.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to excel in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel to meet territorial requirements.

Preferred Experience

  • Post-graduate business school study or training.
  • 5 years pharmaceutical specialty sales experience or 3 years of Oncology sales experience.
  • Experience with Hematology, Solid tumor sales, AML, or Lung Cancer.
  • Community Oncology practice experience.
  • Key Account knowledge is advantageous.
