Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor I to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, in Denver, CO. As an Operations Supervisor I, you will play a crucial role in planning, supervising, and controlling resources to ensure the timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts.

General Description of Duties

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for safe loading/unloading of freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe operations.
• Assign job tasks, provide training, and monitor performances.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and handle hazardous materials appropriately.
• Work collaboratively in a team setting to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with experience in transportation or related fields.
• Supervisory experience is a plus, along with knowledge of freight handling techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer skills.
