Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor I to join our team at ABF Freight in Denver, CO. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling resources to ensure timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight. Your role will involve maintaining load plans, assigning tasks to workers, providing training and feedback, and fostering a positive and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control the loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts.
• Maintain appropriate load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, coordinate work assignments, and monitor performance.
• Provide training, feedback, and disciplinary recommendations.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and promote safe handling of materials.
• Work collaboratively to achieve department goals.
• Support company values of creativity, integrity, collaboration, growth, excellence, and wellness.
• Other duties and projects as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight, imports, exports, and handling techniques.
