Over Night Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Over Night Nurse (RN) to join Aveanna Healthcare, responsible for providing skilled nursing care according to care plans and physicians' orders while upholding professional standards and confidentiality. As an integral team member, you will deliver quality patient care, assess conditions, update care plans, and ensure patient well-being.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, reporting changes as needed.
• Document all activities, care plans, and patient responses promptly.
• Implement nursing interventions based on assessments for optimal outcomes.
• Adhere to Aveanna policies, regulations, and infection control measures.
• Educate patients and families on health-related matters and self-care.
• Maintain competency through educational programs and skill assessments.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing School.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.

Preferences

• 6 months recent clinical care experience.
• Background in home health is a plus.

Skills & Abilities

• Attention to detail and time management.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with patient repositioning.
• Flexibility for mobility and emergency response.
