Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Aveanna Healthcare, focusing on providing high-quality nursing care in accordance with individual care plans and physicians' orders under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical proficiency, attention to detail, and effective communication, ensuring exceptional patient care.
Essential Job Functions
- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care based on physician directives.
- Observe and assess patient condition, reporting changes promptly.
- Document all care activities, assessments, and nursing actions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in developing and updating care plans.
- Take necessary nursing actions to achieve expected outcomes.
- Identify and address changes in patient needs promptly.
- Comply with Aveanna policies, regulations, and infection control measures.
- Educate patients and families on disease process, self-care, and prevention.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current, unrestricted LPN license in the practicing state.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance.
- State-specific experience requirements may apply.
Preferences
- Six months of recent clinical experience as an LPN.
- Home health experience preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to communicate in English and travel as needed.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist in patient movement.
