Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join Aveanna Healthcare. As an LPN/LVN, you will play a crucial role in providing skilled nursing care to patients in accordance with care plans and physician orders. Your responsibilities will include observing and assessing patient conditions, documenting care activities, updating care plans, and educating patients and families.
Essential Job Functions
- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care.
- Observe and assess patient conditions.
- Document care activities and responses in a timely manner.
- Implement nursing care plans and take appropriate actions based on assessments.
- Ensure infection control measures are followed.
- Educate patients and families on self-care and disease prevention.
- Maintain knowledge through educational programs and skill evaluations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.
- State-specific experience requirements may apply.
Preferences
- Six months of recent clinical care experience.
- Home health experience.

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Must be able to travel.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be physically able to reposition patients and equipment.
