Part Time Registered Nurse - Cardiac and Vascular Care

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Part-Time Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac and Vascular Care to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating care for patients in the Cardiac Vascular Care Unit, ensuring optimal post-procedural recovery and observational care.

Responsibilities

• Implement the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care.
• Direct and guide the delivery of nursing care and patient education.
• Maintain professional nursing standards and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Participate in Cardiac Rhythm and Critical Care courses as required.

Requirements

• Active BLS or ACLS certification (ACLS certification within 6 months of hire).
• Completion of Cardiac Rhythm and Critical Care courses within 3 to 6 months.
• Flexibility for potential floating assignments.

Unit Description

The RN will play a key role in extended recovery and observational care, ensuring patient well-being and positive outcomes.
