Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a Cardiology Medical Surgical PCT, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, collecting specimens, and providing basic patient care. Your contributions will directly impact patient well-being and support the efficient operation of our medical facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Observe and report patient progress to medical staff.
- Collect and record vital signs and specimens for lab tests.
- Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
- Measure and record patients' intake and output, and assist with range of motion exercises.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Preferred: Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification, or currently enrolled in nursing school.
- Preferred: Two years of experience in acute or long-term care.
