Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Tech (PCT) specializing in Cardiology Medical Surgical services to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a PCT, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients with daily activities and supporting the medical staff in providing excellent care.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor and report patient progress to the medical team.
- Record vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
- Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping support.
- Measure and record patient intake, output, and other parameters.
- Help patients with range of motion exercises.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification, or enrollment in nursing school.
- Preferred: Two years of experience in acute or long-term care.
