Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to join The University of Vermont Medical Center team. As a Physical Therapist, you will diagnose and manage movement dysfunction, promote physical abilities, and improve the quality of life for our patients. Working closely with therapy and multidisciplinary teams, you will provide direct care, educate patients and their families for post-discharge care, and engage in consultative services.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy to patients with various health conditions.
• Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction to enhance physical abilities.
• Promote optimal quality of life through movement and health.
• Prevent impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities progression.
• Collaborate as part of therapy and multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare patients and families for continued care post-discharge.
• Engage in consultative services within the organization and community.
• Demonstrate dedication to professional growth and continuous improvement of patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science or higher degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed or eligibility for licensing in the State of Vermont.
• Site-specific experience preferred.
