Job Description
Are you a compassionate nurse looking to make a difference by providing one-on-one care to patients in the home health setting? ChristianaCare HomeHealth is seeking a skilled Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will deliver expert care to medically fragile pediatric and adult patients, coordinate care with families and healthcare providers, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to medically fragile pediatric and adult patients.
- Coordinate care with families, doctors, and healthcare providers.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Build positive relationships with patients and their families.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Ability to attend a two-week orientation in our Camden office.
- Previous home health or Long Term Care experience preferred.
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is a plus.
