We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. In this role, you will perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient identification and physician order.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Use age-appropriate methods for radiographic and related patient care procedures.
- Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and medical professionals.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently.
- Follow radiation protection principles and regulations.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT required upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT required within 180 days.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA required upon hire.
