Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse to join Aveanna Healthcare, where you will deliver skilled nursing care and support patients in line with care plans and physicians' orders while upholding professional standards.

Pay Rate

Pay rates based on case and acuity level: $30-35 per hour.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide quality patient care following physician orders.
• Monitor and assess patient condition, reporting changes to supervisors or physicians.
• Document all care activities and maintain care plans.
• Implement nursing actions and prevent risks.
• Comply with Aveanna policies, regulations, and infection control measures.
• Educate patients and families on self-care and disease prevention.
• Stay updated on nursing competencies through educational programs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current state RN license and CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.

Preferences

Preferred: 6 months recent clinical care experience and home health experience.

Skills/Abilities

• Attention to detail, time management.
• Problem-solving, conflict resolution.
• Organization, communication.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
• Travel and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Physical stamina for varied tasks and emergency situations.

Environment

Flexible to work in various environments with possible exposure to allergens and infectious diseases.
