Registered Nurse Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering quality care within the scope of practice outlined by the state nurse practice act. This role involves overseeing nursing activities, ensuring patient safety, and advocating for the delivery of high-quality healthcare.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Mississippi.
- Active CPR certification.
- Knowledge of state laws and regulations governing practice.
- Demonstrated clinical competencies.
Essential Functions
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Administer medications and monitor patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess patient care.
- Modify treatment plans based on patient responses.
- Educate individuals and families on health topics.
- Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
- Additional duties as assigned.
