Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As an RN, you will be responsible for delivering skilled nursing care, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring quality patient care while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
Essential Job Functions:
- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
- Observe and assess patient condition, report changes, and document care activities.
- Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
- Take appropriate nursing actions based on assessments.
- Recognize changes in patient needs and intervene to prevent risks.
- Comply with policies, regulations, and infection control measures.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes and self-care techniques.
- Maintain nursing competencies through education and skill evaluations.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing School.
- Current, unrestricted state RN license and CPR certification.
- Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance.
Additional Requirements:
- Specific state experience and continuing education as required.
- Discipline-specific experience may be necessary.
Preferences:
- Recent experience in clinical care settings or home health.
Skills/Abilities:
- Attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and organization.
- Effective communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English.
- Must be able to travel and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Various physical activities may be required.
