Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. In this role, you will work as a Pre-Op nurse in our 22-bay prep unit, providing critical care and support to diverse patients undergoing various surgeries. As a level 1 trauma center, we handle patients from all service lines, offering a challenging and rewarding environment for your nursing career.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-operative care and assessment to patients.
- Assist in preparing patients for surgery and ensure their safety and comfort.
- Monitor vital signs and collaborate with the surgical team for optimal patient outcomes.
- Deliver compassionate care and support to patients and their families.
Requirements
- Valid RN license and BLS certification.
- Experience in pre-operative nursing in a hospital setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
