Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network. The ideal candidate will provide professional nursing care to patients, assess their needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans. As a Staff Nurse II, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, administer direct patient care, and prepare patients for continuing care during and after transitions. Opportunity to assume responsibility as operational needs permit.
Education and Experience
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is mandatory.
- Preference for employees moving towards a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) to align with our evolving standards.
- Relevant clinical experience required, with oncology experience being advantageous.
- More than one year of experience is preferred.
Additional Details
- On-call duty is not mandatory.
- External candidates with at least 1 year of experience may qualify for a $10,000 one-time sign-on bonus (part-time roles prorated).
