Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As an RN in Radiology, you will play a key role in administering IV sedation, monitoring vital signs, caring for patients during special procedures, and collaborating with fellow healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Unit Description
Greater than one year of experience as an RN is required. Previous experience in Radiology is preferred. Radiology RN duties include administering IV sedation, monitoring ECG rhythms, caring for patients receiving nuclear medicine treatment, managing medications, and more.
Responsibilities
- Administer IV sedation and analgesia during special procedures.
- Monitor vital signs, ECG rhythms, and patients undergoing MRI scans.
- Care for patients receiving nuclear medicine treatment.
- Collaborate in designing patient care policies and protocols.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience.
- Experience in Radiology is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
