Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join Aveanna Healthcare. As an RN, you will be responsible for delivering and coordinating quality patient care, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with care plans. This role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to assess and respond to patient needs.

Pay Rates

Pay rates range from $30 to $35 per hour based on case and acuity level, with a minimum experience requirement of 1 year at this time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
• Observe and assess patient condition, report changes, and document all activities and care provided.
• Develop and update nursing care plans, implementing appropriate actions based on assessments.
• Ensure patient and staff safety through infection control measures.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, self-care, and prevention strategies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted state RN license and CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with care standards.

Preferences

• Six months of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Home health experience.

Skills/Abilities

• Attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel and lift 50 pounds.
• Physical mobility for various tasks and emergency situations.

Environment

Ability to function in different environments with potential exposure to allergens and infectious diseases.
