The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Medical ICU RN, you will play a crucial role in providing professional nursing care to patients in critical condition. Unit Description
- Participate in evidence-based research to treat critical illness and prevent complications.
- Work in a 21-bed medical/cardiac intensive care unit, managing patients with multi-system organ impairments.
- Contribute to quality initiatives and research projects for ongoing professional development.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in continuing education and training programs to enhance your skills.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience in a clinical setting.
