Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Mother & Baby Unit (M&B) at The University of Vermont Health Network. This 28-bed unit provides post-partum care, education, and lactation consultation to families after birth. As an RN, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care and support to new mothers and babies.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive post-partum care to patients.
- Offer educational support to new mothers on newborn care and breastfeeding.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist in lactation consultation and support breastfeeding goals.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Vermont.
- Experience in post-partum care and lactation consulting is preferred.
- Passion for providing compassionate care to new mothers and babies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
