Registered Nurse - Shep 3 North - Alternative Care Unit

Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join the Shep 3 North - Alternative Care Unit at The University of Vermont Health Network. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new alternative care unit catering to long-term care patients awaiting placement. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication and leadership skills, with charge nurse experience being advantageous to oversee LPNs and LNAs on the unit. Long-term care experience is preferred.

Unit Description

Shep 3 North houses 18-20 patients with varying diagnoses, providing an environment similar to that of a long-term care facility.

• On-call: Not required
• Incentives: $10K RN Sign-On Bonus (pro-rated for part-time roles)

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Long-term care experience a plus
