Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Vascular Access team at The University of Vermont Health Network. The successful candidate will work closely with patients of all age groups, providing expert vascular access services using advanced techniques and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform insertion of peripheral intravenous catheters and PICCs with proficiency and precision.
- Consult and collaborate with staff on vascular access devices and related complications.
- Maintain and care for vascular access devices, including clinical interventions for PICC issues.
- Conduct unit-based education and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Prior experience with IV insertion preferred.
- Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
