Retail Assistant Store Manager, Visual Merchandising

Job Description

We are looking for a Retail Assistant Store Manager, Visual Merchandising to join our team at L.L.Bean in Burlington, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business results, developing talent, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences. Collaborating with the Store Manager, you will communicate and execute retail strategic initiatives and uphold the core values of L.L.Bean.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver legendary customer service and ensure staff follows suit.
• Implement visual merchandising plans to enhance the brand experience.
• Communicate and prioritize visual merchandising directives.
• Execute merchandise plans and seasonal floor set directives.
• Ensure timely execution of store marketing directives.
• Contribute to the recruitment and hiring process.
• Address employee issues, provide feedback, and coach employees.
• Train and develop employees, recognizing achievements.
• Promote the Learn, Try, Buy, and Enjoy experience.
• Lead and ensure compliance with Loss Prevention policies.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree with 3+ years of relevant retail experience.
• Strong visual merchandising skills.
• Business acumen to achieve sales and service goals.
• Ability to build strong partnerships and motivate employees.
• High level of enthusiasm, motivation, and positive attitude.
• Excellent time management and organization skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
