We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at Avidex in Cary, North Carolina. As a Senior Accountant, you will leverage your expertise in accounting principles to scrutinize financial data, prepare precise reports, and uphold internal controls under the guidance of the Corporate Controller. Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly general ledger close and prepare journal entries.
• Contribute to the annual audit process by preparing necessary documentation.
• Maintain the integrity of internal controls and assist with testing.
• Manage balance sheet accounts and conduct account reconciliations.
• Prepare detailed reports for senior management.
• Provide guidance to junior accountants and participate in process improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA designation is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate accounting or audit.
• Proficiency in GAAP, auditing standards, and ERP systems like Blackline.
• Strong Excel skills for complex spreadsheet creation.
• Leadership experience and process improvement skills are valued.
