Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Registered Nurse (RN) for our Med Surg team at Advocate Aurora Health in Grafton, Wisconsin. This position involves providing essential patient care under the guidance of RNs, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist RNs with daily patient care activities such as bathing, feeding, and ambulation.
- Document patient data accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Communicate patient observations and needs to RNs promptly.
- Participate in admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
- Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing.
Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Nurse Aide registration.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills and excellent communication abilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, bend, squat, and perform various patient care tasks.
- Exposure to hazardous materials and use of protective gear.
