Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring our store is well-organized, clean, and provides exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, and maintain neat merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and collaborating with team members
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues encountered
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Adhere to company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register
• Proficiency in operating store equipment and performing cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking effectively
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
