Store Management Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Management Trainee to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position involves training on all aspects of successfully managing a store in preparation for running your own store. As a Store Management Trainee, you will supervise day-to-day store activities, ensure overall store performance, identify staffing needs, manage schedules, develop operational action plans, and mentor and develop the team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day store operations to provide the highest level of customer service.
• Communicate and model the core values of the organization to create a sense of teamwork among employees.
• Handle customer concerns and ensure appropriate resolutions.
• Maintain store signage, quality, and freshness of products.
• Assist in hiring store personnel and managing weekly schedules.
• Conduct store meetings, performance evaluations, and training opportunities.
• Manage store payroll, budgets, and inventory counts.
• Comply with company policies and uphold security and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Prior management experience preferred.
