Store Management Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join ALDI as a Store Management Trainee. In this role, you will undergo comprehensive training to learn all aspects of store management. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staffing, and implementing operational strategies. As you progress, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a team, drive store performance, and contribute to the success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team performance to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Communicate and uphold company values and strategies to foster a collaborative team environment.
• Manage store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory.
• Ensure store signage, product quality, and freshness meet ALDI standards.
• Conduct hiring, training, and performance evaluations for store personnel.
• Monitor budgets, implement loss prevention measures, and drive store profitability.
• Maintain a safe and organized store environment.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Demonstrated customer service and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations and management principles.
• Experience in cash handling and equipment operation.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years of retail experience, with management experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
